Potshot is a game for all football fanatics. To play the game you must purchase balls and try to 'score' them into the goals; the outcome is predetermined and not influenced by the ball release. There are three formations of the game field, each having three goals with a unique number of balls that can be gained when the net is hit. Each ball value is set in at the moment of purchase. The more balls that go inside the nets, the more returns are gained by the player. At the end of each game you may choose whether to continue playing with the balls won or to sell them (cash out).

If it's your first time playing Potshot, we recommend you to choose the Play for Fun option which allows you to practice using fun money. This will help you to understand how to play and as soon as you are comfortable with Play for Fun you are ready to Play for Real. There are 3 levels of game with three different field formations. The levels are Rookie, Intermediate and Pro. Aside from the difference in the formations, the levels vary in the possible win amounts; x5 x10, x15 and x 20 your stake. To choose a level just click on the desired formation out of the three available.

To start the game you need to purchase some balls. You should decide how many balls to buy and the cost of each ball. To choose the number of balls, use '-' and '+' controls to the right and to the left of Balls input box. You may also type the amount of balls to buy into the box directly by placing the mouse cursor in it and using your keyboard.

Next you should decide how much you would like to stake per each ball. The higher the stake per ball, the higher the award it may bring you later. To set a stake per ball, use '-' and '+' controls to the right and to left of Price per ball box. You may also input the stake amount into the box directly using your mouse and keyboard.

Once you have decided on the amount of balls to buy and the stake per ball click Play button to start playing. When the button is clicked, the balls purchased are loaded into the magazine on the left side of the field. You may view the amount of balls in the magazine in the box at the top of the magazine. The figure in this box will be decreased by one, each time you shoot a ball until no balls are left in the magazine. You are now ready to start shooting the balls down the field. To fire the balls, click Shoot button. Each scored ball is equivalent to the price you paid for the ball. The shooting will end when no more balls are left in the magazine. Each goal scored will be shown as either a cash amount won or the equivalent in balls. NB: The outcome is predetermined on ball purchase and is not influenced by the ball release.

When the magazine is empty you may collect your prize by clicking Collect button. This will exchange all your balls won into cash. Alternatively you may continue playing, and load the newly awarded balls into the magazine by clicking Load button.

In the event of loss of connection to the game for any reason, play will continue for the same game when next logging in.

Malfunction voids all pays and play.
