Football Frenzy is a simple to play virtual football game. The game simulates an entire football season over 17 weeks of regular play and 4 weeks of post season play. Single bets and multiple bets are available dependant on the number of teams selected within the weeks play. You can bet on the current week's games or skip to a future week's games by selecting the week number from the menu at the top of the game screen; skipping games will allow you to return to previous weeks games but you will be unable to place any bets on those weeks' games.
Placing Bets:To bet on the result of individual matches, click on the check box next to the odds displayed in the SPREAD, MONEY LINE, or TOTAL POINTS columns located to the right of the team names, then choose a bet amount, the type of bet required (single or parlay) then click the Submit Bet button located in the bottom of the game screen in the PLACE BETS box.
Bet Types:Football Frenzy allows you to place single straight wagers and parlay bets. A straight wager is a bet on a single outcome. For example, to bet that New York, playing at home, will win straight up you would place a 'Single' bet on the money line for the home team. A parlay is a combination of one or more single wagers within the context of a single bet. In the case of a parlay bet the outcome of all single bets that make up that parlay must come true in order for the parlay bet to win. For example, if you parlay New York to win straight up and the over for that same game then New York must win and the game total must be over the Total for the bet to win. The advantage of parlaying bets together is that it increases the odds paid out for a win. Adventurous bettors often parlay singles together to maximize their returns. For example, a £1.00 bet on Seattle to win at +160 wins £1.60 and a £1.00 bet on Cincinnati to win at +140 wins £1.40 but a £1.00 parlay bet on Seattle to win at +160 and Cincinnati to win at +140 wins £5.24.
Spread / Moneyline / Total Points:Spread: The odds for a spread bet are displayed above the Home and Away columns in brackets next to the Spread heading. Select the check box under the Away column if you think the visiting team will cover the spread. Select the check box under the Home column if you think the home team will cover the spread.
Moneyline: The odds for a moneyline bet are displayed under the Away and Home columns in the same row where the teams are listed. For example, "+120 [ ]" indicates that if you check that selection you are placing a wager at +120 odds. Select the check box under the Away column if you think the visiting team will win. Select the check box under the Home column if you think the home team will win.
Total Points: The odds for a Total Points bet are displayed above the Over and Under columns in brackets next to the Total Points heading. Select the check box under the Over column if you think the combined score of both teams will be greater than the total points listed for that game or the check box under the Under column if you think it will be lower.
Bet Details
To review the details of individual bets that you have placed for the current week click the Details button displayed under the bet that you wish to examine. The type of the bet is displayed at the top of the Bet Details pop-up window. For example, the following Bet Details window shows that this bet is comprised of six 2-bet parlays and lists the four individual wagers that you have bet on. Listed after each tame name is a description of the bet type for that team and the odds that the bet pays.
Edit To modify the selections that you have made or the bet amount click the Edit button displayed under the bet that you wish to modify. This will allow you to add selections to the bet, remove selections from the bet, change the type of bet, or to change the bet amount. Once you have clicked the Edit button the Game Lines section will be updated to reflect the selections that you had previously made for that bet and the Place Bets section will be populated with the bet type and bet amount. You can now add, remove, and edit any of these values and then use the Submit Bet button to replace your original bet with the newly constructed bet for this week's games. To cancel edit mode simply click the Cancel Edit button in the Bet Details section.
Delete To remove an entire bet from your bets for the current week click the Delete button under the bet that you wish to remove. This will remove the entire bet, including all selections that you have made within that bet, for the current week and can not be undone. To remove single items from within a bet see the section on modifying a bet.
Commit All Bets and Play
Once you are happy with all of your bets, click the "Commit Bets and Play" button. The results for this week's games will be displayed in the Results section, next to the Game Lines section.
Results:
When the results have come in, an indicator will appear beside all match ups that were part of any one of your bets for that week. A green indicator will appear for all games that are part of a winning bet, a Red indicator will appear for all bets that
Viewing Bet Details:
At the end of each weeks play, you may view each "betting slip" by selecting "Details" within the Bet Details section.
Viewing Past Weeks:
At any time in the game you can click on the week number of a previous week, listed above the Game Lines section to view the results for that week. When you click on a previous week that week's results will be shown in the Results section. If you had placed any bets for that week the Bet Details section will also update with the bets for that week. Clicking the Details button listed under a bet for that week will show the detailed breakdown of your selections for that week.
Interface:
Use the Switch Theme button at the top of the Results section to alternate between display modes for the Game Lines section.
Use the Mute button to toggle sound on / off.
Use the Odds Format button to select your preferred odds format.
Use the Standings button to display the current standings for all teams. Standings are based on results for the current season.
Use the Clear All button to quickly clear all selections in the Game Lines window.
Game Rules:
A game is defined as all of the combined bets for a single virtual week. The minimum stake in any one game is £0.25, the maximum stake is £500.00. The maximum that may be paid in any one game (i.e. virtual week) is £20,000.00. Please note that the value shown in the "Possible win" is just a mathematical formula and therefore may show a value greater than £20,000.00
In the event of loss of connection to the game for any reason, play will continue for the same game when next logging in.
The overall average return rate of this game is approximately 96% and is dependant on game play and strategy.
Malfunction voids all pays and play.
